Second training-block “School for good governance and participatory development” held in Kutina

During 28 February and 1 March 2019, second training-block "School for good governance and participatory development" was successfully held in Kutina. Around 25 representatives of civil and public sector from Kutina had an opportunity to learn more about local development planning, elements of the strategic plan, the importance of assessing community needs, forms of civic participation and ways of informing citizens about the work of NGOs.

Urban M project team from Zagreb visited colleagues in Birmingham

The City of Zagreb is a partner in Interreg's Urban M project - Stimulating Innovation Through Collaborative Maker Spaces. On February 12 and 13, a project team from the City of Zagreb and ODRAZ external experts visited colleagues in Birmingham. They received feedback and comments from City of Birmingham's representatives and project manager at Birmingham City University on the first draft of the Zagreb Incentive Action Plan and the development of maker spaces that are part of the Urban M project for each city / region involved in the project.

Preparation for EESC`s "YEYS 2019" event in Croatia

Croatian students will join the "Your Europe, Your say" event 2019 in Brussels to discuss an important topic and to make their own proposals to Europe on issues ranging from education, employment and the environment to equal opportunities, culture and migration. As a part of preparations for their participation, where they will interact with other European students, ODRAZ director and member of EESC, Lidija Pavić-Rogošić on February 8, 2019 visited the selected school Second Secondary School of Economics in Zagreb.

First training-block “School for good governance and participatory development” held in Kutina

During 29 and 30 January 2019, first training-block "School for good governance and participatory development" was successfully held at Open University Kutina. Around 25 representatives of civil and public sector from Kutina had an opportunity to learn more about the importance of sustainable development for society, the principles of good governance and the roles of sectors in local sustainable development, with an emphasis on their contribution to culture.

ODRAZ as a co-organizer of World bank consultations for Croatia Country Partnership Framework 2019-2023

The World Bank Group has started preparing its new partnership framework with Croatia for the period 2019-2023. This process includes countrywide consultations to hear diverse views from stakeholders on Croatia's economic and social challenges and on ways the World Bank Group can help address them most effectively. ODRAZ was co-organizer of consultations in Slavonski Brod, Sisak, Knin, Split and Zagreb.

ODRAZ translated on croatian language a comic about Sustainable Development Goals ˝The planet and the 17 goals˝ by Margreet de Heer, part of the Comics Uniting Nations Initiative, which aims to spread the word about the 17 Goals in the form of comics.
