With the competition we would like to encourage citizens of Zagreb to critically reflect urban traffic, with focus on sustainable, clean, energy-efficient and environment friendly mobility modes. Citizens of Zagreb can send their photos till 7 September 2017.

Second CIVINET Forum held in Rijeka

On the 9th of June the Second CIVINET Forum was held in Rijeka. Around 70 members of the CIVINET Slovenia - Croatia - SEE Network for Sustainable Urban Mobility gathered, as well as other actors interested in the topic of sustainable mobility. The topic of the second Forum was "Planning and managing sustainable transport: plans and realizations". The Forum was dedicated to the 11th Global Sustainable Development Goal: sustainable cities and communities, and it was organized by ODRAZ, the Secretariat of the CIVINET and the City of Rijeka as the Network coordinator.

ODRAZ marked European Sustainable Development Week with roundtable on the topic "Sustainable cities and communities"

We marked the last day of the European Sustainable Development Week and World Environment Day on the 5th of June with the roundtable on which the roles of the cities in the attainment of sustainable development goals were discussed. The roundtable, organized within the project "Dialog on mobility in Zagreb" and in cooperation with the Association of Cities of the Republic of Croatia gathered around 50 representatives of NGOs, cities, faculties, public institutions and private companies.

Attitudes and practice of citizens and companies on philanthropy - results of the national research study

Electronic version of the publication in which results of the first national research study about individual and corporate philanthropy in Croatia are presented is now available. The research study has been conducted within the project "Trust in local philanthropy" in which ODRAZ is partner to Community Foundation Slagalica from Osijek. The role of ODRAZ in the project was data processing and analyzing as well as writing of the report.

European Sustainable Development Week 2017 has begun

On the 30th of May the third European Sustainable Development Week has begun and it will last until 5th of June, which is World Environment Day. It is celebrated around the Europe with the aim of fostering and raising visibility of activites, projects and events which promote sustainable development and Global Sustainable Development Goals. There is currently over 3800 events from 29 countries announced on the web platform ETOR, 26 of which are from Croatia. ODRAZ,  the coordinator of this European initiative in Croatia, thanks everyone who is actively involved.

Meeting with citizens on topics of traffic and mobility in Ilica held

After meetings with citizens about mobility in their neighbourhood were held in six city neighbourhoods, the last meeting was held on 9th May 2017, about the area of one of the longest streets in Zagreb. The meeting was part of the program of the festival Project Ilica/Readymade Ilica, and the most discussed topic was the improvement of the communication between citizens and the City of Zagreb.
